OLD SCHOOL “TAKING IT LOCAL”  WITH A FUN LOCAL SHOPPING EVENT
 
Drop in any time from 10 am-3 pm on November 9th to visit over 20 vendors both inside and out at the Schoolhouse, featuring everything from wood crafts, crochet gifts, and milk soaps to jewelry and gourmet dog treats, plus direct sale vendors like Tastefully Simple, Color Street and more!
The format is designed to make your early holiday shopping fun and easy:  Parking is free, close up and handicap accessible, snacks and food are available, and of course there will be drawings and fun games throughout the day.  For a list of vendors see newbornschoolhouse.org or contact newbornschoolhouse@gmail.com
 
The event benefits Historic Newborn Schoolhouse (c 1924) which now operates as a nonprofit event space and community center.  It includes an auditorium with sound system, full kitchen, dining/classroom space for 75, and even an old school museum (open any time on request)  Historic Newborn Schoolhouse is located just 2 blocks SE of the blinking light at town center at 4326 Hwy 142; convenient to Madison, Covington, Social Circle, Monticello & Rutledge.
