Monday October 22 - 5 PM The Conservation Fund and the Village of Porterdale, are hosting a free Public Forum. The speaker is Ed McMahon - Chair for Sustainable Development and Environmental Policy, Urban Land Institute - The Dollars and Sense of Protecting Community Character, sponsored by the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta. This is open to all, including municipal and county agencies, chambers of commerce, art groups, historical societies, recreation/trail and agricultural/horticultural groups. The presentation speaks to the importance of the shared responsibility for protecting community character and the positive impact it can have on community and economic development.
